About Proof-It-Write |
Proof-It-Write's
owner and writer/editor is Amy Elliott, whose home office is in
South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from college with a degree in
journalism (minor, English) in the 1980s, worked in the private
sector as a writer and editor, and began teaching high school
English in 1999.
In 2004 Amy began Proof-It-Write, a
freelance writing/editing business, while continuing to teach
English. She writes and edits business and marketing materials
for individuals, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and
corporations throughout the country. Though 95% of the work is
done in-house, other qualified writers and graphic designers
occasionally contribute on a contract basis.
With a host of corporate and
freelance writing/editing credits, Amy will help you craft a
